I really should have trusted my instict. Last week when she started waking up again at night I thought to myself that maybe she was getting sick again. But, then she would wake up and be so happy all day. My gut instinct was that I should take her to the doctor, so I guess I need to trust my gut in the future. I think every Mom can relate when I say you don't want to be that Mom who's taking her kid to the doctor every day when you don't really need to. But, there really is nothing like a Mother's instinct!
I intend to do some reading on ear infections to see some possible alternative solutions, so we'll see what I can dig up. I'm going to ask my chiropractor about it because sometimes certain adjustments can help chronic ear infections. But, in the meantime, it's just plain hard to have a baby who's miserable in the middle of the night. Thankfully the other two kids haven't struggled with ear infections. I'll state the obvious when I say it's just not fun at all.
So, this poor baby has had 3 double ear infections, congestion and breathing trouble that landed her in the ER, a febrile seizure, pink eye, some fevers here and there, and more congestion all since December. No wonder I'm so tired!!
